Dad really loved being at the Montana Lakes, at first at the Whitefish cabin, and then at Ashley, which as you all know is supercallafragalisticexpialadocious. Somewhat strange for him, as he never really ever wanted to leave home! He was such a homebody, it was unreal. That's why he never really enjoyed working for those ten years on the railroad, because he had to leave home to do his job! (He was a brakeman, in the running trades, as it's called in the industry).
i will never forget the day he flew by us on the seadoo behind shawn, funniest thing i've ever seen, with his long white hair flying and his big smirk. shoulda got a picture if we had a camera around, words don't do it justice.

ReplyDeleteKristy...I agree. It was just hilarious. We were all having a ride in the boat, and they flew past us like we were standing (sitting) still.
