Flower power.

I walked through the community garden across the street on my way to the convenience store, and the plots have grown so much, i came back with my camera. The city loans this land to a group of local gardeners, who each get a boxed-in plot about 6' by 15'. They call it, their "Urban Eden". So, here we have various flowers, some yummy looking lettuces, a HUGE tomato bush, and the black cat, cleverly called, "Blackie", friend of the gardeners, who hangs about keeping the rabbits away from the numerous veggies. Interesting that no one seems to steal any of the many vegetables grown there. We Edmontonians are a civilized lot, i suppose.
