I'm tossing this in as filler between the last post, 5o'7, and the upcoming 5o'7plus. With several questions attached. Is this FHE, em?
Others, can you see my sister D, my brother R, my brother R, my dad D, my sister L, my sister J, and my grape like head?
What do you think those books are, on the dining room table? And the written on papers? I think i recognize the handwriting.
Only time will tell.
i can definetely see scriptures there and a hymn book, must have been FHE
ReplyDeleteYou got it Kristy, that's just what i was thinking, i can see the hymn book open, even see the lines and notes, and the other books look like scripture.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least your giant grape head wasn't as bad as my space-alien-giant-curlers-and-black hair-net-head every single night of junior high school.
ReplyDeleteAnd wasn't that nice that Dad was presiding at the head of the table that night. He did support us in our church endeavors.
I like this picture.
Ha! These vintage pictures really make my day. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWell, darned if y'all aren't absolutely KEE-RECT. It was Family Home Evening, how did you ever guess. The expressions on my kids' faces should've told the story, even without the scriptures, written outline, etc.....they were ORGANIZED, even if not too effective.Debbie: "Do you ALWAYS have to take pictures?" (She was in her pj's) Judy: straight unadulterated BOREDOM Rob: "uh? what's goin' on here?" Randy: thoughts elsewhere. (Probably about the kitty his teacher wanted to give away) Linda: in her housecoat and those big curlers, probably resenting the dozens of phone calls she was missing. Jeff: not too much of him in sight, but quite significant, that big head was always busy thinking. Dad: "Well, may as well go along with it....at least we'll enjoy the treats....oh oh, that look tells me Im supposed to be in charge here.....what's a PATRIARCH?"
ReplyDeleteNo more to be said. Everybody liked the treats.
